This month we have a double-feature all about docker!
First up we have Peter Fisher (PHP Developer, Teacher/Trainer and host of the ‘How to Code Well’ podcast and YouTube channel) giving us a longer, updated version of his ‘Put Your Docker Image on a Diet’ talk, talking to us about Docker and showing us how to use best practices within Docker to reduce the size of our images.

Second up we have a returning speaker, Dan Ackroyd (maintainer of the PHP Imagick extension) giving us a talk about "Docker mistakes". Some of them are simple mistakes we make and others are more indepth.
Why not come along, grab a slice, and learn how you can utlise docker in your PHP environment and avoid the common mistakes.

A new venue again this month - we’re at the Appnovation office on Churchill Way. They are a full service agency who use a number of languages and frameworks, including Drupal and Laravel. The full office address is:

Use the Churchill House entrance next door to Jessops, report to Reception and then head up to the third floor.
Here’s a rough agenda, as things stand:
* Feel free to arrive from 6:30pm
* We’ll have pizza at 6:45 provided by Lexis Nexis, as well as some alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks provided by Appnovation
* There will be a short welcome talk at 7:00, followed by the first talk and any Q&A.
* Afterwards, feel free to stay and discuss the talks and chat with the speakers at the venue. Alternatively, we can head somewhere else afterwards to carry on the conversations.
